Approximately 35% of ovarian cancer patients are expected to be positive for folate receptor alpha (FRα)1, meaning over a third of people with advanced ovarian cancer may have a different treatment option. Testing for FRα expression is performed using the FDA-approved immunohistochemistry (IHC) companion diagnostic (CDx)—VENTANA FOLR1 (FOLR1-2.1) RxDx Assay.
